As a dancer, choreographer, and aspiring cultural anthropologist, I am fascinated by the spectrum of human experience. My anthropological research interests are the integral social functions served by the arts. By extension, I seek to create and perform art which captures what it is to be human. I am inspired by all sectors of the arts, from literature to apparel design, as well as social theory, cultural research, and current events. I use dance as a dynamic vehicle for experiencing as well as expressing everything from strength to vulnerability and fear to love.
